We invite you to join us on Friday, November 20th, for a special evening of music and photography of artist Ruth Naomi Floyd, and hear what God is doing at the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association! A love offering will be taken.  The program will begin at 7pm, but we encourage you to arrive early for a light dessert reception and “meet and greet” with the artist from 6:30-7:00!

Please check out the following links for access to Ruth’s biography as well as her website!

Prayer Needs

  • Please join us in praying for our After School Program (September 29, 2015 – June 10, 2016) that the participating students would know the peace and joy of Jesus both at OCCCDA and in their families.
  • Please pray for the Adult Education classes, which have grown considerably since starting up again in September. We need prayer both that we reach the families in need of these ministries and that we find the staff, volunteers, and funding needed to support these programs.
  • Please pray for the Carnell Family Resource Center, lead by the OCCCDA, which will be opening this fall at Carnell Elementary School once the space renovations are complete and the room is furnished. The Carnell Family Resource Center  (CFRC) will partner with children, their families, teachers and community partners to identify non-academic barriers to education and reduce their impact on the family and the classroom.  In addition, as a church community, we can be specifically praying for the families that walk through the doors of the CFRC.  This is a unique opportunity!
